Michele Petrone
Chief Executive Officer of Aliplast S.p.A.
He was born in Busto Arsizio (VA) in 1977.
Since 23 April 2024, Mr. Petrone has been Chief Executive Officer of Aliplast S.p.A. He is responsible for management and processing activities of industrial and urban plastic waste to recycle it as a resource, thus managing, in a sustainable manner, the integrated plastic cycle. He oversees the transformation and conversion of recycled plastic into sustainable packaging, also through closed-loop projects on a European scale. He is also responsible for pursuing the business objectives in his relevant area in accordance with the sustainable development of the territory and the protection of its environmental resources.
In 2015, he joined the Hera Group and held positions of increasing responsibility in Administration and Finance at AcegasApsAmga, first as Manager of Administration and Finance before becoming Manager of Administration, Finance, Control, Sustainability Report and Normatives.
In 2013, he joined the Siram Veolia Group, where he supervised both the parent company and subsidiaries Samitec S.r.l. and Simav S.p.A., with increasing responsibilities in the administrative and financial fields.
Previously, after his initial experiences with marketing and communication roles, event organisation and commercial spaces for important international brands, he was Senior Manager at PriceWaterhouseCoopers, where he gained international experience in different areas of accounting and assurance, planning and risk management, and assessment of the internal control system.
He holds a degree in Business and Economics from the University of Insubria.
