Born in Forlì in 1970.
Since 27 April 2023, Executive Chairman of the Hera Group.
From April 2014 to April 2023 Market Group Manager and he is responsible for the management and development of the Group's activities in the energy markets. He is responsible for all activities related to electricity production, trading, sales of electricity and gas and value-added services, management of the relationships with energy customers and administered services (water and waste management), and the district heating business.
His responsibilities include all Group companies dedicated to these activities.
From February 2009 to May 2023, he was Chief Executive Officer of Hera Comm S.p.A. and Estenergy S.p.A. and he is the President of Hera Comm Marche S.r.l. He was also Chief Executive Office of Ascotrade S.p.A. and he is a member of the Boards of Directors of other group companies.
Since July 2006, first as Group Manager and then as Chief Executive Officer, he has been in charge of Hera Comm, the Hera Group's commercial company dedicated to the sale of electricity and gas, and has been Chief Executive Officer and member of the Boards of Directors of other Group companies. Previously, in 2005 he joined the Hera Group as Head of Strategic Planning.
From 2001 to 2005 at Bain Company, as a Manager, he was responsible for multiple projects in a wide variety of areas, mainly in the utilities sector: M&A, post-merger integration, support in logistics and production, organisation, planning and control.
From 1998 to 2001, he gained diversified experience in Enel in the areas of planning, control and budgeting as well as in operations.
From 1997 to 1998 he was with the Eni group in the gas production area.
He graduated with honours in Electrical Engineering and holds a Medea Master's degree in Energy and Environmental Management.

Orazio Iacono
Chief Executive Officer
and Manager of Renewable Energies ad interim
He was born in Modica (Ragusa) in 1967.
Since May 2022 he has been Chief Executive Officer of the Hera Group.
From January 2022 to May 2022 he was Chief Operating Officer for Sustainable Infrastructures of Saipem, where he entered in October 2021 in the role of Chief Operating Officer Italy.
From February 2021 to September 2021, he was Senior Advisor at Oaktree Capital Management/PwC Italy, with the task of providing strategic and specialized advice on infrastructure and technologies with a view to environmental, social and economic financial sustainability and a strong orientation towards the ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) principles for corporate social growth.
From September 2017, he was Chief Executive Officer and General Manager of Trenitalia, a position he held until December 2020. Over the years, Trenitalia has become a European group with a turnover of about 6.5 billion euros, operating in five countries (Germany, France, Spain, UK and Greece) and is responsible for carrying out an internationalization process with the award of tenders in the UK (West Coast Franchise) and Spain for the Spanish High Speed service.
From November 2014 to September 2017 he worked in Trenitalia as Director of the Regional Passenger Division, a central structure to which all the individual regional departments report; here, he carried out an intensive restructuring process of the industrial structure and led the company (thanks also to a significant investment program for the new regional fleet) to become a reference model.
He began his experience in the Ferrovie dello Stato (FS) Group on 1 December 1993 and took on positions of increasing responsibility within the Italian Railway Network Company (RFI - network manager) before becoming, in 2012, Commercial Director and Network Operator. He also followed the technological development projects (among other things) in the Bologna station for activation of the high-speed rail service.

Legal and Corporate Affairs Group Manager
Born in Casalfiumanese (BO) in 1958.
Since November 2002, she has been the Hera Group's Legal and Corporate Affairs Group Manager, with responsibility for policy making, supervision and management of legal and corporate matters for the entire Group, guaranteeing legal relations outside the company in support of all company functions, litigation and corporate relations with the Stock Exchange and Consob. She has acquired specific expertise in the field of corporate transformations and to this end has conducted several studies for the reorganisation of local public service companies and has collaborated in a number of listing operations.
She has been a member of the Board of Directors of various companies in the Hera Group, dealing with their operational start-up.

Alessandro Camilleri
Personnel and Organisation Group Manager
Born in Udine in 1973.
Since May 2022 he has been Personnel and Organisation Group Manager, with responsibility for ensuring the definition and implementation of policies relating to the management, development and training of Hera's human resources. He guarantees the management of industrial relations and ensures the definition and formalisation of the company's organisational structures, overseeing aspects relating to organisational models, assessment and incentive tools and systems and paths for people's development.
In January 2008 he joined the Group Personnel and Organisation Department of Hera S.p.A., initially as Head of Organisation, with increasing assignments and responsibilities within the Group Personnel and Organisation Department, until he was appointed Manager of Development, Training and Organisation in January 2012. During this period, the company attained Italy's Top Employers certification for 13 consecutive years, ranking in first place in 2020 and 2021, it was awarded the title of Global Leading Utility 2020 at the Dow Jones Sustainability Index, nominated by the Milan Polytechnic University as winner of the HR Innovation Award in 2013 and Smart Working best practice in 2018.
From 2004 to 2007, in Fiat Auto S.p.A. he had the opportunity to hold positions of increasing responsibility starting from the professional area of Development, moving on to roles of coordinating activities in Human Resources for start-ups in China and India and gradually developing the discipline of the organisation, until he became Head of Global Organisation for the Brand & Commercial areas of Fiat Auto.

Born in Rome in 1963.
Since January 2010 he has been the Group Manager of Communication And External Relations and is responsible for defining the Group's strategies in the field of internal and external communications and institutional relations, managing sponsorships and the contents of institutional and product advertising, guaranteeing supervision of relations with the media, planning external and internal events, protecting and developing the Group's corporate identity, brand and image through traditional and social channels and the web.
In 2005 he joined the Hera Group as Head of External Relations.
In 2003 he was Head of Relations with the Media, Associations and Publishing at Trenitalia S.p.A.
In 2000 he was Head of the Press Office at Acea S.p.A., a multi-utility company based in Rome.
He began his career in Sip S.p.A. in 1991 as a press officer with roles of increasing responsibility: Head of the International Press Office in 1996 and then Head of International Corporate Operations again with Telecom Italia S.p.A.

Stefano Verde
Strategy, Regulation and Local Authorities
Born in Milan in 1979.
Since September 2022, he has been Group Manager of Strategy, Regulation and Local Authorities and is responsible for supporting top management in the development of the Group's multi-year business plan, also overseeing the regulatory and legislative framework, influencing its evolution towards solutions favourable to Hera's development and ensuring communications and fulfilment of obligations to sector authorities and government institutions.
In addition, he is responsible for overseeing relations with Local Authorities, setting up interaction mechanisms aimed both at improving the Group's ability to provide answers to emerging issues regarding territorial development and promotion activities, and at supporting the maintenance of a favourable context for the development of corporate business initiatives.
Since 2021, he has been Strategy Manager within the Group of the holding Hera S.p.A. in the Strategy, Regulation and Local Authorities Department, having previously held the role of Head of Strategic Planning (since 2013) and Head of Strategic Planning and Policy-making (since 2018).
In October 2009, he joined the Hera Group in the company Hera Trading, which manages the production, procurement, import, purchase, sale and export of energy products; in 2011, he became Head of the Electricity and Environmental Securities Portfolio.
Since 2008 he has worked as an economist in the Research and Studies Department and in the Markets Department of the Electricity and Gas Authority, where he has also been involved in regulating the European electricity market (CEER and ERGEG working groups).

After an initial internship experience at the Directorate-General for Industry and Enterprises of the European Commission, in 2006 he was confirmed as a policy officer on a fixed-term contract.

Group Manager of Corporate Services
Born in Ravenna in 1951.
Since April 2014 he has been the Group Manager of Corporate Services and is responsible for organising and managing the departments of Purchasing and Contracts, Quality, Safety and Environment, Facilities Management and Invoicing for the Hera Group, with the aim of rationalising activities and pursuing improvements in terms of effectiveness and efficiency. His remit also involves monitoring the market for these sectors in order to seize all possible business opportunities (JV, acquisitions, divestments...).
From January 2010, he was Group Manager of Information Services and Systems with responsibility for organising and managing the departments of Facilities Management, Invoicing, Payroll, Information Systems and Corporate Fleets.
From November 2002 to December 2003 he was interim Group Manager of Hera Ravenna S.r.l., and from November 2002 he was Manager of the Services Division of the Hera Group.
From September 1998 to October 2002 he was General Manager of A.R.E.A. S.p.A., a multi-utility company in the province of Ravenna.
He was a member of the Board of Directors of Service Imola S.r.l., Chairman and CEO of Famula On Line S.p.A. and member of the Board of Directors of Uniflotte S.r.l.
From 1984, he was General Manager of the Consorzio Artigiani Idraulici Impiantisti of Ravenna, which he joined in 1979 as a Sales Engineer.

Born in Ottawa (Canada) in 1967.
Since January 2010 he has been Investor Relations Manager with responsibility for defining, implementing and managing communication strategies and relations with investors, financial analysts and stock exchange authorities, ensuring the correct flow of information. Born in Faenza (Ravenna) in 1972.
Since April 2020 he has been Manager of District Heating with Hera S.p.A.; his duties include ensuring business development and achievement of the financial and technical objectives in the field of district heating.
Since July 2019 he has been Chief Executive Officer of Hera Trading, after covering the position of Group Manager since 2013. He is responsible for developing, monitoring and evaluating the fuel, gas and electricity trading portfolio and environmental certificates, analysing prevailing trends on the relevant markets and developing potential trading strategies in line with the assigned objectives and within the limits of the risk policies, while guaranteeing trading on national and European regulated and non-regulated markets, deciding the strategies and the trading positions in the portfolio.
He is also responsible for overseeing the development and modelling of short- and long-term gas supply forecasts, monitoring and analysing forecast variances with respect to the final results and producing the reports for the period. He also defines the medium- and long-term asset management strategies that may be necessary to achieve expected trading performance.
From April 2012 to June 2013 he was Market Operations Manager at Hera Trading, where he had been the Head of the Gas Area and Risk Management since 2005.
In November 2002, after the merger that led to the establishment of Hera Group, he joined the Sales and Marketing Division as Head of Gas Procurement, and was responsible for developing the Energy Risk Management model.
From January 2002 he collaborated with Ami S.p.A., a multi-utility in the Imola area, as a consultant with responsibility for developing and implementing a variety of projects including: segmentation of the electricity and gas markets, valuations for acquisitions and mergers and due diligence.

Chief Executive Officer of AcegasApsAmga S.p.A.
Born in Rovigo in 1957.
Since May 2019, he has been Chief Executive Officer of AcegasApsAmga S.p.A.; he is responsible for the management of integrated water cycle services, methane gas distribution, environmental hygiene services, public lighting, electricity distribution and energy efficiency services; the company offers services to more than one million citizens and businesses. AcegasApsAmga S.p.A. was established following the merger between Hera S.p.A. and Acegas-Aps and the subsequent merger with, among others, Amga Multiservizi Udine, and he was appointed Group Manager from its inception in May 2013.
In January 2010, he was appointed Business Unit Manager - Modena Territorial Operations Structure; the Business Unit is the result of the changes to the previous corporate structure, Hera Modena S.r.l. of which he was Group Manager from 2006.
During 2007 he served as CEO of Sat and Satcom merged into Hera Modena S.r.l.
In April 2004, he was Group Manager of Agea S.p.A. Ferrara, a multi-utility in the province of Ferrara and, following the merger of Agea into Hera S.p.A., he was Group Manager of Hera Ferrara S.r.l.

Born in Grizzana Morandi (BO) in 1953.
Since January 2008 he has been Chief Executive Officer of Marche Multiservizi S.p.A., and in 2007 he oversaw the merger by incorporation of Megas S.p.A. in Urbino into Aspes Multiservizi S.p.A. in Pesaro, creating the leading multi-utility in the Marche Region in terms of business volume and industrial size.
He is responsible for the management of the integrated water cycle services, methane gas distribution and environmental hygiene services in almost all the municipalities of the Province of Pesaro and Urbino.
In 2018, he completed the merger by incorporation of Megas Net, owner of the networks and systems of the water service and gas distribution.
In 2012, he carried out the merger by incorporation into Marche Multiservizi of the company operating in the Municipality of Falconara Marittima (AN), concluding the first supra-provincial aggregation process within the Marche Region, which was started in 2009.
From October 2003 to February 2006 he was Group Manager of Hera Rimini S.r.l. and, at the same time, he was Chief Executive Officer of Aspes Multiservizi.
From November 2002 to September 2003, following the merger of Seabo S.p.A., a multi-utility company in the province of Bologna, into Hera S.p.A., he was appointed Manager of Development of Local Companies.

Antonella Esposito
Internal Auditing Manager
Born in Cosenza in 1973.
Since January 2018, she has been Internal Auditing Manager with responsibility for assisting the Company in the pursuit of its objectives through an independent and objective activity of assurance and advice, designed to assess and improve control, risk management and corporate governance processes. She is also responsible for assessing, in coordination with the Supervisory Board of which she is a member, the adequacy of the company's activities and conduct with respect to the provisions of Legislative Decree 231/2001, also ensuring the coordination of specific 231 audits with the other types of audits carried out by the Management.
In November 2010 she joined Hera S.p.A., with the responsibility of managing internal audit processes, with particular focus on administrative and financial areas, acquiring the main national and international certifications in the audit field (CIA, CCSA, CRMA, QAR).
She began her professional career in 2000 at Arthur Andersen, now Deloitte, where she had the opportunity to hold positions of increasing responsibility up to that of Senior Audit Manager. In this context she carried out auditing activities mainly in the field of auditing and certification of financial statements of companies in the manufacturing sector and provided business consulting, gaining specific expertise in corporate mergers and liquidation balance sheets, accounting due diligence activities, analysis on the construction and maintenance of business plans in corporate restructuring and debt restructuring operations. She has been involved in stock market listing transactions. She has managed audits and projects for important customers in the manufacturing sector in Italy and abroad.
She collaborates with the Master's Program of the University of Verona and with A.I.I.A. (Italian Association of Internal Auditors) in their training activities on topics related to internal control, risk monitoring in companies and financial statement analysis.
She holds a degree in Economics and is a qualified Chartered Accountant and Auditor.

Born in Milan in 1970.
As of 1 September 2022, he has held the role of Hera Group Manager of Administration, Finance and Control, with responsibility for ensuring the definition and application of the Group's economic, financial, budget, fiscal and equity policies and for overseeing the planning and control of the Group's objectives, guaranteeing decision-making support to the corporate functions and an integrated view of the administrative, financial and control processes.

Manager of Shared Value and Sustainability
Born in Fidenza (PR) in 1969.
Since March 2019, he has been Manager of Shared Value and Sustainability (formerly Corporate Social Responsibility) with responsibility for proposing and defining, at Group level, the corporate guidelines relating to shared value creation (CSV) and sustainability, as well as policies on non-financial reporting and accountability. He is also responsible for managing the definition and implementation of the Balanced Scorecard system, in line with the company's planning cycle (Multi-year Business Plan and Budget).
Since 2019 he has been a member of the board of directors and since 2023 managing director of Impronta Etica, an association of companies for the promotion and dissemination of the principles of social responsibility and sustainability, and from 2019 to 2022 he has been a member of the management board and vice-president of the National Foundation Global Compact Network Italia, an organisation that aims to develop the United Nations Global Compact in Italy. Since 2023, he has also been a member of the board of directors of Sustainability Makers, a third sector body that works to qualify and promote professionalism and skills in the field of sustainability.
Since 2018 he has been a member of the Ethics and Sustainability Committee of Hera Group.

Salvatore Molè
Group Manager of Innovation
Born in Naples in 1970.
Since April 2014, he has been Group Manager of Innovation with responsibility for the development and operation of the Group's Information & Communication Technologies and the management of telecommunications-related activities through the subsidiary Acantho. In addition, he is responsible for development and innovation initiatives, also through new plant and production models, for the Group's Cyber Security, Data Analytics, Intelligent Automation and digital transformation projects.
In 2013 he was Manager of Technology and Development, managing the main technical services and engineering and R&D in Hera.
In 2010 he joined the Hera Group as Manager of Operating Sectors, with responsibility for directing, coordinating and ensuring the achievement of objectives for the regulated activities of Gas Distribution, Water Cycle, Electricity Distribution, District Heating and Waste Management.
From 2008 he was Head of Business Development of Dufenergy Italia, a company of the Duferco Group, with the task of evaluating, developing and managing the Group's investment projects in the energy sector: energy production plants from traditional and renewable sources, energy imports, energy trading and sales.
From 2000 to 2008 he worked at Bain & Company. As a Manager, he followed customers and projects mainly in the Energy & Utility sector, dealing with reorganisation, development of industrial plans, operational improvements and efficiency recovery, process optimisation, definition and implementation of post-merger integration plans.
From 1995 to 1998 he was a Business Analyst with the Network Consulting Group.

Roberto Dardi
Business Development Manager
Born in Bologna in 1979.
Since 24 May 2023, he has been Business Development Manager with responsibility for supporting the company's top management in handling the evolution of the business portfolio, pursuing development options in the core businesses or possible ventures into other businesses/initiatives through acquisitions, internal development or tenders.

Alessandro Aiello

Born in Cuneo in 1973.
As General Manager of the company since 17 May 2023, he is responsible for planning the company's development, identifying new growth opportunities in the industry, developing and supervising operational plans, determining technological orientation and establishing and maintaining relationships with key customers, business partners and external stakeholders.
From January 2022 to May 2023 he was Operations Manager with responsibility for the coordination and optimisation of the company's technical/operational, commercial and project activities.
From May 2012 to December 2021, he was Sales Manager of Acantho and was responsible for developing the customer base for all business segments with the aim of maximising the share and the level of market penetration, of ensuring the achievement of sales objectives for all segments by periodically monitoring their performance and of managing agreements with TLC operators by identifying business opportunities in the Wholesale market.

He was born in Ascoli Piceno in 1966.

Fabrizio Mazzacurati

From September 2017, he was Chief Executive Officer and General Manager of Trenitalia, a position he held until December 2020. Over the years, Trenitalia has become a European group with a turnover of about 6.5 billion euros, operating in five countries (Germany, France, Spain, UK and Greece) and is responsible for carrying out an internationalization process with the award of tenders in the UK (West Coast Franchise) and Spain for the Spanish High Speed service.
