2014: ISO 50001 certification for Hera SpA (11 Group companies certified by 2021)
2015: First publication of Value to Energy, our energy efficiency report
2016: Launch of the Consumption Diary, to help customers reduce their consumption
2017: Start of construction of a biomethane plant that uses the organic fraction of waste (7.8 Mm2 produced in 2020)
2018: First complete reporting of our GHG emissions (Scope 1+2+3)
2018: for the first year, Hera guarantees 100% electricity from renewable sources to all residential customers
2019: Launch of the Hera Impronta Zero (Zero Footprint) rate plan, providing 100% electricity from renewable sources and methane gas with CO2 emissions offsetting
2020: Start of permitting work for the construction of two new biomethane production plants
2020: Hera's rating in the CDP (Carbon Disclosure Project) questionnaire rises to A-
2020: “Pursuing carbon neutrality” becomes one of the three drivers creating shared value
2021: Sustainability and annual report consider TCFD recommendations: new "Hera for climate" section
2021: Contributing to achieving carbon neutrality becomes part of Hera's corporate purpose (amendment to the Articles of Association passed by the Shareholders' Meeting)
2021: Shared value EBITDA (CSV EBITDA) enters the incentive system for all executives and managers
2021: Validation of our 2030 decarbonisation targets by the Science Based Targets Initiative
2021: Launch of Hera Fotovoltaico, the most recent addition to the range of "green" and energy efficiency rate plans for Hera customers

2021: Authorizations obtained for two new biomethane plants
2022: Photovoltaic project launched to install systems on spent landfills and water utility plants (68 MW planned to 2025)
