Marina Vignola was born in Salerno on 17 April 1970.
Since 2017, she has been an independent director of Hera Spa, where she has also held positions in Group companies.
She is Associate Professor in Economics and Business Management at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia, where she teaches International Marketing in the Bachelor’s degree in International Marketing Economics, and Internationalisation Strategies in the Master’s degree in International Management.
She is the President of the Bachelor’s degree in International Marketing Economics. She is a member of the Scientific Council of the Sebastiano Brusco Economics Library, in Modena.
She has been an independent Board Director of Hera Spa since 2017, where she has also held positions in Group companies.
Her main research interest is the internationalisation of companies spanning across various topics, such as: foreign market selection models; SME international development models (internationalisation processes and the role of real and financial internationalisation services); management of international agreements (processes for the formulation and implementation of agreements); inter-business knowledge transfer processes (role of formal and informal knowledge transfer mechanisms and the relational dimensions of trust and cultural distance); Country of Origin effect (impact on the purchasing choices of end consumers and of distribution, in different countries and sectors).
With regard to these issues, she has authored many articles in foreign and national journals, as well as important monographs.
She graduated with a degree in Economics and Commerce from the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia.
