Francesca Fiore is a member of the investments committee of Invitalia Ventures Sgr, which manages Invitalia’s venture capital assets.
Until 2016 she was a member of Vodafone Germany’s Supervisory Board, and from 2012 to 2015 a member of the Board of Directors of Seat Pagine Gialle S.p.A., acting as independent director and selection and remuneration committee
Previously, Francesca Fiore had been telephone marketing director of the Vodafone Group for Europe and Turkey, responsible for comprehensively managing telephone, tablet and other electronic device offers in fourteen countries. From 2008 to 2012 she managed, with the same responsibilities, Southern European countries.
Before her international transfer, she covered the role of supply chain management director and member of the executive committee of Vodafone Italia N.V.
She became part of Vodafone in 1998, acting as Customer Relationship Manager for the consumer market and in March 2000 was given responsibility for the start-up of Vodafone Italia’s e-care and e-commerce activities, later to be entrusted with the commercial launch of all multimedia and GPRS and UMTS data transfer services for the consumer market.
After earning a degree in economics in Naples in 1990, she began her professional career as a consultant for ODI, working first at its headquarters in Boston and later in its Milan offices.
In 1995 she completed an MBA at the Harvard Business School in Boston, after which she continued to gain experience as a consultant for McKinsey and Co, where she mainly worked for clients in the telecommunications and consumer goods sectors.
Always an avid reader of psychology texts, in 2015 she completed a Master’s degree in Social Psychology of Educational Processes at Milan’s Bicocca University.
Married and the mother of four children, received the 2010 Golden Apple (manager section) from the Bellisario Foundation for the “undisputed managerial and strategic gifts with which she has built a successful career within a large international group, becoming an example and a model of a perfect reconciliation of work and family.”
In June 2010 she received the “Excellent Neapolitans Across the World” prize from the president of the Industrial Union of Naples for personally contributing to the image of her home city.
