In fact, Hera was just little more than a point behind the outright leader in the top 100, totalling 87.75 to Eni's 89.
A result that puts it well ahead of all other Italian utility companies and that confirms the company's increasing commitment to improving the quality and transparency of its communications, which are increasingly viewed as strategic tools.
For Hera - underlined Giuseppe Gagliano, External Relations Manager at Hera - the site is the backbone of communications that move with the times and which are attentive to the increasing needs of all interlocutors."
The Webranking analysis, performed every year by Hallvarsson & Halvarsson in association with il Corriere della Sera, evaluates the quality of the online communications of the 100 largest Italian companies by market capitalisation floated on the Milan Stock Exchange and, in this field, represents the most detailed research at European level.
The subject of the analysis is the financial and corporate information and functionalities published in English on the sites.
Each year the research stems from a preliminary survey which, this year, gathered the requests and preferences of 313 professionals from all over Europe (investors, analysts and economics journalists. The protocol was designed on this basis with criteria for judging the sites: this year 140 parameters were defined, subdivided into 3 sections, which attribute a maximum overall score of 100 points.
The final prize giving event will take place on 2 December in Milan.
