The HERA Group won in the "Business" category for the best projects submitted at national level on dematerialisation.
On 21 April, the awards ceremony for the 2015 European Week for Waste Reduction, which took place from 21 to 29 November throughout Europe and beyond, was held in Rome.
The HERA Group won in the "Business" category for the best projects submitted at national level:
- Give your town a tree - dematerialisation of paper bills
- HergoAmbiente - dematerialisation of all operating work orders
- Change the ending - dematerialisation of waste to be reused
- Farmacoamico - dematerialisation of pharmaceutical waste
The event opened with the press conference for Keep Clean and Run - #pulisciecorri, the 350 kilometre eco-trail that began on Saturday 30 April in San Benedetto del Tronto (AP) and will end on Friday 6 May in Rome. This occasion represents the key event in Italy for the second "European Clean Up Day", the European campaign against littering that will be held across the continent from 6 to 8 May. In addition to the two runners Roberto Cavallo - the waste expert of Scala Mercalli - and Oliviero Alotto, Lucia Cuffaro, host of a segment on DIY broadcast on UnoMattina, also took part.
