Improve local services
By combining the forces of citizens and companies, we can find the best solutions for local services, both in terms of needs and environmental sustainability.
Knowing how to listen is a virtue, and when it comes to citizens who live in the territories we serve, listening is a resource.
This is why we have created HeraLAB, a relationship model to listen, understand and respond to the needs of the territories in which we operate,
through the active involvement of citizens.
When I heard about this initiative, I immediately thought that I should participate. I found it very interesting that a company wanted to get in touch with citizens to create the best solutions for the territory and I wanted to make my own contribution.
HeraLAB is really a great initiative; by putting us all around a table to think together about ideas to be implemented in order to improve sustainability and Hera services, we all reap benefits. We citizens have the opportunity to highlight our needs and, at the same time, the company is sure of implementing useful projects that will be well received by the communities. For example, together with Hera, we planned A Macchia d'olio, a competition to encourage citizens to recycle used oil by involving and raising awareness among local companies and offering a prize to the community based on the results achieved. The areas that provide the greatest amount of used oil will receive a sum of money to invest in the territory for the purchase of benches, defibrillators or other items useful to the community.
Together we can make a difference
