Born in Taranto on 05/09/1954.
She is a statutory auditor. Since 2018, she has been Chairwoman of the Board of Auditors of Trieste Trasporti S.p.A.; Auditor of Postel S.p.A. and Alternate Auditor of Leonardo S.p.A. Since 2017, she has been Chairwoman of the Board of Auditors of ATER (regional public housing authorities of Friuli-Venezia Giulia).
At the corporate level, she has held various positions: she has been a member of the Board of Directors of Hera since 2023; from 2019 to 2022 she was a member of the Board of Directors of AcegasApsAmga; from 2018 to 2020, she was Auditor of the Local Authorities of Friuli-Venezia Giulia; from 2018 to 2020, she was Alternate Auditor of Poste Tributi (in liquidation).
From 2011 to 2015 she was President of the Trieste Port Authority, a position she also held from 2004 to 2006.
From 2006 to 2011 she was General Manager of AcegasAps, a multi-utility in northeastern Italy that operates in environmental and water services and in the distribution of gas and energy; she was Vice-President and member of the Control and Risk Committee of Unicredit Corporate Banking; she was a member of the Board of Directors of Federambiente and member of the Board of Directors of “Fondazione Internazionale Trieste per il Progresso e la Libertà delle Scienze” (International Foundation for the Progress and Freedom of Science, Trieste).
From 2002 to 2006, she was Vice-Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of Zagrebačka Banka (Zagreb - Unicredit Group), while from 2001 to 2006 she was Chairwoman and CEO of Adriafer, as well as Sole Director of Porto Vecchio. From 2001 to 2004, she was the Administrative and Financial Director of the Trieste Port Authority.
From 1984 to 2003, she held a number of positions, including: Head of the Private Office of the Minister of the Merchant Navy, Director General of the Ente Autonomo del Porto di Trieste (autonomous Port Authority of Trieste), Secretary General of the Trieste Port Authority, member of the governing board of the Ente Zona Industriale di Trieste (Trieste Industrial Area Authority), National Coordinator of the Secretaries General of the Port Authorities, and member of the Maritime Transport Commission of the Italian
Section of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC). During this period she was also a member of several scientific committees for the assessment of environmental impacts and sea protection.
She has edited several scientific publications in the environmental sector, with a focus on environmental protection, marine pollution and the defence of the ecosystem. In 1992, she was awarded the “Premio del Mare" for merits acquired in the field of maritime research for the defence of the sea.
She is a member of the Order of Journalists of Friuli-Venezia Giulia (Special Register).
She has a degree in Biology from La Sapienza University in Rome.
