Gruppo Hera is resuming its in-person environmental education programs for schools. Teachers can now sign up for free projects focused on environmental education and scientific dissemination. The initiatives include "La Grande Macchina del Mondo" and "Un Pozzo di Scienza," aimed at promoting environmental awareness and scientific knowledge among students aged 4 to 19. The programs offer innovative activities on energy, water, and the environment, with a total of 70 different workshops, events, and other educational opportunities. The programs will incorporate both in-person and remote learning methods to accommodate the needs of teachers and students. The "La Grande Macchina del Mondo" program introduces topics such as energy conservation, responsible water usage, and environmental resources through hands-on experimentation and inventive projects. The "Un Pozzo di Scienza" project targets secondary school students and focuses on scientific dissemination and sustainable development. It offers activities such as live events, scientific workshops, interviews with experts, and citizen science projects, including water quality research. Additionally, students will have the opportunity to visit Gruppo Hera's facilities in person or through virtual immersive tours. The program emphasizes the importance of younger generations in driving positive change and building a better future, addressing social, economic, and environmental development.
