Heracademy: our corporate university

We invest more than 15 million euro through the Heracademy every year to support the growth of our people, with more than 30 hours of training a year per capita, and a 97% involvement rate by staff.
Implementing transversal programmes designed to develop skills related to digital, environmental and energy transitions, Heracademy is at the heart of our training strategy. A process that also comes to life in our dedicated learning spaces: the new Learning Centre in Bologna and Training Centre in Ferrara, designed to combine innovation, experience and professional development.

    The Longevity Program

    Today, as never before, we are seeing many different generations represented in the company. This diversity represents an asset for us, which needs to be cultivated and supported to create long-term shared value together.
    Phenomena like the demographic decline and increase in work longevity impact significantly on companies, an issue that we also addressed at the Heracademy workshop "Demography and work: new development perspectives".    

    In this context, our approach to human resource management considers the specific needs and opportunities of people in relation to the various stages of their career path. We promote a model where research and development into skills continues regardless of the generation: The goal is to continuously enhance every person, regardless of their age and role, through learning and growth processes that allow them to remain relevant both within the organisation and in an increasingly dynamic and demanding job market

    It is precisely in this context that we are developing Longevity, our welfare programme formulated to support people according to the different phases in their personal and working lives.

    Fair pay and an extensive incentive system

    At Hera, the value of people translates into a fair, transparent and merit-based remuneration system, with performance linked bonuses, individual rewards and variable remuneration for managerial roles. This is complemented by an extensive and structured incentive system, which includes supplementary insurance, service benefits, sustainable mobility initiatives, cultural and sports activities, as well as practical wellness measures and harmony between people’s private and working life.
