NRRP: together to nurture the territory
NRRP: a plan at the service of Italy
In recent times we have often heard about NRRP, but what exactly is it and why is it a topic that interests everyone?
The NRRP – National Recovery and Resilience Plan – provides for investments financed through the Next Generation EU fund of the European Union to relaunch the country following the pandemic crisis, stimulating economic and social growth, and giving new impetus to the ecological transition.
The NRRP projects are divided into 16 components, which are in turn grouped into 6 missions:
Mission 1 (M1): Digitalisation, innovation, competitiveness, culture and tourism; Mission 2 (M2): ‘Green Revolution’ and ecological transition;
Mission 3 (M3): Infrastructure for sustainable mobility; Mission 4 (M4): Education and research;
Mission 5 (M5): Inclusion and cohesion; Mission 6 (M6): Health.
These initiatives affect all of us, because they have a positive impact on our economy, on employment and also on aspects of daily life such as health, mobility and the energy transition.
The projects of the Hera Group financed by the NRRP
Consistent with our purpose, we have presented a series of projects related to Mission 2:
’Green Revolution’ and ecological transition. With approximately €280 million in funding, we will continue to invest in new technologies in the circular economy, work on the resilience of our networks, promote energy efficiency projects, protect water resources with new monitoring systems and reduce losses in the network.
