Thanks to robotics and artificial intelligence, we can streamline our workflows and enhance the value of people and their intellectual capabilities. With the Robotic & Intelligent Process Automation platform, we have made seven processes faster and more reliable: discover which ones.
Will the future belong to machines? That’s the main question that arises when we talk about Robotics and Artificial Intelligence, two fields that have radically transformed the way industry operates and reshaped its processes.
It is not up to us to predict the future, but one thing is clear: automation is key to unlocking the full potential of the people who work at the Hera Group. Robotics and Artificial Intelligence have enabled us to automate all repetitive, low-added-value business processes. This gives our people more time to focus on more qualified tasks and allows them to apply their intellectual skills to activities that bring greater value to the company.
Thanks to the Robotic & Intelligent Process Automation platform, we have achieved significant results, speeding up and improving the reliability of operations across 7 processes developed in recent years:
- management of supplier compliance certificates (Durc)
- communications between energy suppliers and distributors
- the vendor’s order entry process
- "expense reports"
- service notifications relating to environmental services
- work orders for replacing metering devices in networks
- the virtual assistant for scheduling meetings and booking meeting rooms
By introducing dashboards that monitor automated activities, we can act directly on business processes, constantly improving productivity and efficiency.
Our goal is to expand the scope of automation to new areas, supported by ongoing technological advances, for example semantic engines for text interpretation and optical character recognition (OCR) systems.
The challenge to make our processes smarter and smarter continues.
