What is podcasting?
Podcasting is a system that makes audio and video tracks available on the internet in RSS feed format. Basically, it’s a service that automatically keeps people informed and, when necessary, downloads the new audio files made available on a site. With a program that can read and decipher these feeds, you can be informed as soon as a new audio file is published. Podcasting allows you to personalise the contents you listen to: the users choose when, where and how to listen to the audio files.
How does podcasting work?
It’s simple: just download and install free podcasting software. Once the program is installed, you need to indicate from which sources to download the files and how often to check for new tracks.
How do I listen to a podcast?
To use the resource you need to place the mouse cursor over the “Podcast” icon, right-click and select “Copy link”. Once the link is copied, use it in the program you’ve downloaded.
