Stefano Gnocchi was born in Codogno (LO) on 18 May 1974.
He has gained twenty years’ experience at PricewaterhouseCoopers (Italy and the US) and Mazars Italia in the fields of governance, compliance, internal control systems, internal audit, risk management, management control, organisational models pursuant to Italian Legislative Decree 231/2001, Supervisory Bodies, investigation and fraud auditing and financial auditing, industrial plan certificates, control management systems and prospectus disclosures.
He was Visiting Professor at the Department of Economics and Business Science of Milan Bicocca University between 2015 and 2017, and untenured lecturer at the Department of Economics and Business Science of Pavia University between 2010 and 2017.
He holds institutional positions in several companies. He is a partner at Mazars Italia and head of the Governance, Risk and Internal Control department.
He serves as chairman of the boards of statutory auditors of listed industrial and financial groups (SNAM, MutuiOnline).
He serves as standing auditor of Italian real estate and multinational companies working in the automobile sector. He is a member of the Giglio Group supervisory body. He is a member of commissions of the Milan Chartered Accountant Association, Assirevi research committees and member of IIA, AIAF, ANDAF, IGS and NedCommunity.
He earned a Master in Business and Knowledge Audit from Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore of Piacenza and Milan.
He has been registered with the Register of Legal Auditors since 2016.
He graduated with a degree in Economics, specialisation in Finance, from Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore of Piacenza and Milan.
