For the sixth consecutive time, the prestigious institute acknowledges the multi-utility as one of the best Italian companies due to working conditions offered to employees and innovation in human resource management.
Again this year, Hera is confirmed as a certified Top Employers Italia company, winning, for the sixth consecutive year, the prestigious recognition from the Top Employers Institute, an organization which, since 1991, assesses quality standards in terms of working conditions offered to employees. The award ceremony was held on 17 February, in Milan, at the Officine del Volo, during an evening which was attended by all companies judged “top” for personnel policies. The Top Employers certification is an authoritative research, more selective each year, which, in 2015, analyzed 963 companies in 99 countries worldwide. The certification process takes at least a year and companies are asked for specific, detailed documentation regarding wages, working conditions, training and development, career opportunities and corporate culture.
“The Top Employers award, which we receive with honor for the sixth year, highlights the Group’s solid corporate culture: we have always invested in our employees and their professional development by offering many refresher activities with an average of approximately 30 hours per year of training per capita”, said the Hera’s Executive President, Tomaso Tommasi di Vignano. “In addition, we implement many listening opportunities including top management meetings with employees and internal atmosphere surveys.
