Jens Klint Hansen
Investor Relations Director
Born in Ottawa (Canada) in 1967, Jens Klint Hansen has served as Director of Investor Relations of the Hera Group since January 2010.
He is responsible for defining and implementing the Group's Investor Relations strategy, coordinating relationships with institutional investors, financial analysts, rating agencies, market authorities and financial media to ensure transparent, timely and continuous communication with the capital markets.
He supports the Group's top management through strategic analysis and market intelligence, monitoring macroeconomic, competitive, regulatory and capital market developments, and contributing to the definition of the Group's strategic positioning and related communication to investors. He oversees the preparation of institutional presentations and financial reporting for the investment community, monitors analysts' consensus and manages the Group's share buyback programme. He also oversees the preparation of periodic reports to the Board of Directors on market perceptions, analyst consensus, and engagement with the financial community.
From 2003 to 2009, he served as Head of Investor Relations at the Hera Group, where he participated in the Company's IPO process and contributed to the development of the Investor Relations function from the Group's inception.
In 2000, he joined Art'è S.p.A. as Investor Relations Officer & Corporate Development, participating in the company's IPO process, supporting the CFO in M&A transactions, the development of the stock option plan and corporate development activities.
From 1996 to 2000, he worked as Senior Consultant at PricewaterhouseCoopers Corporate Finance, gaining extensive experience in M&A transactions, business valuations, business planning, due diligence and IPO processes. During this period, he advised leading Italian and international companies, including Gucci Group, FIAT, Olivetti, Liquigas, AGAM, Marcolin, as well as numerous small and medium-sized enterprises.
He began his professional career in 1994 as Financial Controller at ISER S.r.l., following an initial experience in the Audit practice of Coopers & Lybrand.
He holds a degree in Economics, specialising in Corporate Finance, from Bocconi University in Milan.
Throughout his career, he has lectured in postgraduate master's programmes on finance, sustainability and financial communication at the Universities of Bologna, Ferrara, Modena and Lugano.
In 2024, he received the "Rising IR Professional" award from Extel. Previously, he was repeatedly recognised among Europe's leading Investor Relations and financial communication professionals by Institutional Investor, IR Global Rankings and Webranking, and has contributed to the Hera Group's numerous awards and recognitions in the fields of financial communication and Investor Relations.
