Degree in Economics and Business at the University of Modena, PhD in Economics and Business Management at the University of Venice he is currently Full Professor of Business Organization at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia, where he is Deputy Director of the E4E Doctoral School (Economics and Engineering) and, previously, he was Director of the "Marco Biagi" Department of Economics and Director of the PhD in Work Development Innovation.
He has been engaged for years in organizational and managerial research - he is the author of numerous books and articles published in Italy and abroad - and in higher education, as scientific director and professor of university master's degrees (including Human Resources Management, Health & Safety Management, Sport System Management) and higher education courses (including Healthcare Management, People Analytics), mainly at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia and the Bologna Business School.
He holds institutional and scientific positions, including: vice-president of the Scientific Committee of the Marco Biagi Foundation, director of the S.O.S. Il Telefono Azzurro ETS Foundation, member of the Management Committee of the Azienda Ospedaliero-Universitaria Policlinico di Modena, member of the Committee for Personnel of the Autonomous Province of Trento, member of the Management Board of the Vignola Foundation.
