Born in Cento (Ferrara) on 27/01/1973

Since 2016, he has been involved in the management of the family business, which operates in the production and processing of agricultural food products.

From 2016 to 2021, he served as Mayor of the Municipality of Cento (Ferrara), and subsequently, from 2021 to 2024, as a Municipal Councillor.

Since 2009, he has been providing professional consultancy services in the energy and construction sectors.

From 2009 to 2016, he served as Mayor of the Municipality of Sant'Agostino (Ferrara), a position to which he was re-elected in 2014; he also managed the reconstruction following the 2012 earthquake, in coordination with the Extraordinary Commissioner of the regional government of Emilia-Romagna.

He also held the position of Deputy Mayor of the Municipality of Sant'Agostino (1999–2009) and of Provincial Councillor in Ferrara with responsibility for labour and economic development (2014–2016)

From 1999 to 2004, he worked in the insurance sector.

He holds a high-school diploma as an Industrial Technical Expert.
