Alice Vatta

Born in Turin on 23/09/1975.

She is currently the CEO (senior partner) of BPI Learn, a consulting boutique specialising in business transformation programmes, which include skills development, leadership and change management.

Since 2025, she has been a non-executive independent Board Member of Industrie De Nora. Since 2020, she has been a non-executive independent Board Member of Hera, where she is also Chairwoman of the Ethics and Sustainability Committee.

From 2022 to 2025, she was a non-executive Director of Fincantieri Spa, as well as a member of the Sustainability Committee and a member of the Appointment Committee.

From 2014 to 2018 she was Vice President of client strategies of C3.ai, operating in Italy as C3 Energy Italy, among the world leaders in the sector of Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) providers. PaaS offers technological solutions for the design, development and implementation of software applications (SaaS), including Big Data, predictive and IoT applications to support the digital transformation of companies. She was responsible for the opening of the Italian branch and the growth of the largest European accounts. Among her main responsibilities was contributing to the value growth of the Enel Group — an Italian energy company and one of the leading global integrated operators in the electricity and gas sectors — through the launch of numerous IoT solutions in the distribution and generation businesses, including the implementation of predictive and fraud detection software.

From 2013 to 2014, she was Principal of Bain & Company, a leader in the field of "European Energy practice", where she supported both Italian utilities and oil & gas companies involved in international expansion operations. From 2000 to 2013 she was Associate Principal of McKinsey & Company. She was a leading member of the European practice "Electric Power and Natural Gas", in particular on issues related to renewable energy and distribution networks. At McKinsey she served both Italian and foreign clients (in Europe, North Africa and South America), with projects to define market strategies, organisational restructuring and operational performance improvement programmes, including "Industry vision 2020" (innovation plans for the development of utilities) and the implementation of lean approaches for water, electricity and gas distribution and transmission networks.
In 2003, she worked temporarily at the International Finance Corporation - World Bank Group in Washington DC (USA), as part of an internship during her MBA programme.

She holds a Master of Business Administration from the Haas School of Business, University of California, Berkeley, including an exchange programme at the London Business School.

She holds a degree in Civil Engineering from the Politecnico di Torino.
