Alice Vatta
Alice Vatta was born in Turin on 23 September 1975.
She currently works for Business Performance Institute (BPI), a consulting firm based in Turin that designs and implements programmes for the growth of skills and executive leadership resources. She is in charge of: a portfolio of leadership transformation and development projects with global companies (pharmaceutical and industrial); a task force dedicated to business development in the technology and start-up sectors; and financial planning and monitoring of the company’s financial performance.
She is a non-executive Director of Fincantieri Spa, as well as a member of the Sustainability Committee and a member of the Appointments Committee.
She is a partner of Archangel Adventure, a company specializing in pre-seed and seed investment.
Between 2014 and 2018, she was Vice President of the client strategies for C3.ai, operating in Italy as C3 Energy Italy, among the world leaders in the Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) provider sector. These technological solutions are used to design, develop and implement software applications (SaaS). She was in charge of the opening of the Italian branch and the growth of the leading European accounts.
Between 2013 and 2014, she was Principal of Bain & Company, a leader in “European Energy practice”, where she supported both Italian utilities and oil&gas companies involved in international expansion operations.
She was Associate Principal of McKinsey & Company between 2000 and 2013. She was a key member of the European practice “Electric Power and Natural Gas”, with particular focus on issues related to renewable energy and distribution networks. At McKinsey she served both Italian and foreign clients (in Europe, North Africa and South America), developing projects to define market strategies, organisational restructuring and operational performance improvement plans.
In 2003, she worked at the International Finance Corporation - World Bank Group in Washington DC (USA), as part of her MBA internship.
She holds a Master in Business Administration from the University of California at Berkeley - Walter Haas School of Business, earned during the London Business School Exchange Programme.
She graduated with a degree in Civil Engineering from Turin Polytechnic.
