In order to request information from Hera S.p.A. via the website, you are requested to provide the following personal information:

  1. Forename and surname/company name, nationality, place and date of birth and tax code, in the capacity of shareholder;
  2. An email address or a fax number;

This data will be associated with the message that you send. If these personal details are not provided, you will not be able to contact the company.

Purpose The personal data requested is collected in order to enable Hera S.p.A. to receive messages and subsequently provide appropriate replies.
Methods used The data will be processed using both electronic and paper formats.
Nature of data provision The provision of your personal data is completely optional and not compulsory. As a result of a lack of consent, however, if you decide not to provide your personal data, Hera will be unable to reply to your message.
Scope of communication The data will be available to employees of Hera S.p.A. who need the information because of their job.
The data will also be available to employees of Officine Digitali S.r.l., which will process the data for the aforementioned purposes in its capacity as an external data supervisor.
In addition, Acantho S.p.A. also has access to the personal data collected in its capacity as connectivity services technical manager for the Hera Group’s website.
Duration of processing Your data will be removed from the database in which it is stored one year after your message is sent.
Rights pursuant to article 7 of Legislative Decree 196/2003 If a year has not yet passed since your message was sent and your personal data has therefore not been removed, you may exercise your rights pursuant to article 7 of Legislative Decree 196/2003 by sending an email to the following address: privacy.comunicazioneweb@gruppohera.it:
We hereby inform you that:
  1. You have the right to obtain confirmation of the existence or not of any of your personal information, even if not yet recorded and the communication of the same in an intelligible form.
  2. You have the right to obtain clear indications of:
    1. The origin of the personal data;
    2. The purpose and methods of processing;
    3. The logic applied when processing them with electronic means;
    4. Identifying details regarding the data controller, the managers and assigned representatives pursuant to Article 5, paragraph 2;
    5. Subjects or categories of subjects to which the personal data can be communicated or who can be notified as the assigned representative in the area in the country, as managers or officials.
  3. You have the right to obtain:
    1. The updating, correction or, when desired, the addition to the data;

Shareholders who submit questions via web relative to the Shareholders’ Meeting pursuant to Art. 127-ter of the Consolidated Law on Finance.

Data controller

The Data controller is Hera S.p.A., with registered office at Viale Berti Pichat 2/4 - 40127 Bologna.

Personal data collected

The personal data that will be processed, with automated and non-automated means, are:
1) Name, surname and tax code;
2) A delivery address of your choice (email or fax number);
3) The municipality/province of birth and any other personal information useful to fulfil the request;
These data will be associated to the message that you will enter.

Legal basis

Processing of your personal data is based on the legal obligation to which the data controller is subject.


The purpose of the personal data processing that we intend to carry out is to allow Hera S.p.A. to receive messages and provide the appropriate answers.

Nature of providing the data

Providing your personal data is entirely your decision and not mandatory. However, failure to provide your personal data will make it impossible for us to fulfil your request and answer your message.


Your personal data will be processed through electronic and non-electronic means, with the use of measures suitable to protect the security and confidentiality of said data.


The data that you provide will not be disseminated in any way.
They may be fully or partially processed by Companies of the Hera Group, which will act as external data processors.
The personal data may be communicated to third parties contractually linked to Companies of the Group.
The data will be processed exclusively by parties authorised and formally assigned to carry out said tasks, identified, instructed and informed of the restrictions imposed by law.

Data retention period

Your data will be retained for 5 years from the contact request.

Rights of the data subject

You may exercise the following rights as envisaged by Regulation EU 2016/679, sending an email to protocolloheraspa@gruppohera.it.
Art. 15 (Right of access): You may obtain confirmation of the processing of your personal data, as well as access to them and to all of the information contained in this disclosure; in particular, the data controller shall provide you with a copy of the personal data subject to processing, upon your request.
Art. 16 (Right of amendment): You may amend any inaccurate personal data without unjustified delay and may add to any incomplete personal data, also by providing a supplementary declaration.
Art. 17 (Right of elimination): You may eliminate your personal data without unjustified delay if the data are no longer necessary with respect to the purpose for their collection; if they have been unlawfully processed; as a result of a legal obligation; or if you have withdrawn consent or object to their processing.
Art. 18 (Right of limitation of processing): You have the right to limit processing under the following cases:
a) if you dispute the accuracy of the personal data, for the period necessary for the data controller to verify the accuracy of such data;
b) if the processing is unlawful and you object to elimination of the personal data and request that their use be limited instead;
c) although the data controller no longer needs them for the purposes of the processing, the personal data are necessary for you to ascertain, exercise or defend a right in court;
d) you have objected to their processing, pending verification of any predominance of legitimate reasons of the data controller with respect to yours.
Art. 20 (Right to data portability): You have the right to receive your personal data in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format and to transmit said data to another controller without hindrance from the controller that provided them, where the processing is based on consent or on a contract and the processing is carried out through automated means.
Art. 21 (Right to object): You have the right to object to the processing in whole or in part, and the data controller shall abstain from further processing your data, unless the controller demonstrates compelling legitimate grounds for the processing which override your interests, rights and freedoms, or for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims. Where personal data are processed for marketing purposes, you have the right to object to their processing at any time for such purpose, which includes profiling to the extent that it is related to such marketing. Where personal data are processed for scientific or historical research or statistical purposes, you have the right to object to their processing for reasons relating to your particular situation, unless the processing is necessary for the performance of a task carried out for reasons of public interest.

Right to submit a complaint to the Control Authorities

The data subject has the right to submit a complaint to the relevant Control Authorities.
