The Hera Group joins the Alliance for the Circular Economy. Established in 2017, the Alliance for Circular Economy currently includes 17 companies: A2A, Aquafil, Bvlgari, Cassa Depositi e Prestiti, Cetena (Fincantieri Group), CIRFOOD, Costa Cruises, Enel, ERG, FaterSMART, Hera Group, Intesa Sanpaolo, NextChem (Maire Tecnimont Group), Novamont, Salvatore Ferragamo, TH-Resorts and Touring Club Italiano. Its mission is to relaunch a coordinated and shared commitment between industry and citizens in favor of a circular development model, which also represents an opportunity to relaunch the country's competitiveness. At the Alliance's Position Paper 2020, among the new proposals to fully exploit the potential for economic, social and environmental development linked to circularity, is also included the one of Hera Luce, the public lighting company of the Group, which has developed an innovative tool to measure circularity in the lighting systems, in order to support a more performing production processes and a greater energy efficiency.
