The intercompany nursery in Ravenna was announced in April and will be inaugurated in September 2010. The building is a former elementary school that was redeveloped by the Municipality and officially awarded after a public auction to Hera at no charge, listing Hera as the “head company”. Hera selected the temporary business association between the social cooperatives Il Cerchio and Zero-cento to serve as the qualified nursery manager, which will employ Camst for meal services. The nursery aims to promote a balance between work and family along with Hera’s other facilities: “Tirithera” in Cesena and “Il nido di Cornelia” in Imola. 44 spots are available for infants from 3 to 36 months: 20 are reserved for the Municipality, 5 for Hera and 5 for local associations and cooperative companies. Other companies in the region can also participate by reserving one or more of the remaining spots.
