Maurizio Chiarini (Chief Executive Officer of Hera Group) presents Sustainability Report
The main sustainability projects that the Hera Group has launched embody the strategic priorities outlined in the Business Plan, and illustrated to stakeholders on an annual basis in the Sustainability Report.
The strategic priorities are subject to annual review. They are referenced in the Group mission and the Code of Ethics, and take account of the results of the numerous stakeholder interaction activities.
Our main initiatives and priority projects are connected with the following strategic goals, summarised in the strategic map during the Hera Group Balanced Scorecard definition process:
(development of renewable and assimilated energies, sustainable management of urban waste, reduction of atmospheric emissions, modernising of waste water purification plants, monitoring of water network leaks)
(improvement in customer satisfaction, waiting times, performance levels and service safety)
(customer satisfaction survey, internal climate survey, involvement of customer bases at plants, publication and distribution of the Sustainability Report and specific reports on important topics)
(actions for improving the internal climate, enhancement of disabled personnel, expansion of the company crèche, development of projects for promoting equal opportunities)
(development of EMAS environmental registration and certification of management system for workplace health and safety)
(green acquisition, integration of sustainability criteria in the selection of suppliers and in the management of supply contracts)
