Sustainability report: Guidelines
Guidelines

The content of the Sustainability Report was defined in accordance with the guidelines established by the GRI and GBS, also taking into account information deemed to be relevant for corporate stakeholders.

The GRI G3.1 guidelines and the sector supplement dedicated to the Electric Utility sector (final version of the Sustainability Reporting Guidelines & Electric Utility Sector Supplement approved in April 2009) are used as a reference.

Among the different levels of application identified by the GRI-G3.1 guidelines, the Hera Sustainability Report has reached application level A+, which corresponds to the complete application of the guideline requisites and an independent external audit.

The Sustainability Report represents the Communication on Progress outlined by the Global Compact. The Global Compact has established that a Sustainability Report drafted according to the GRI guidelines also satisfies the requisites necessary to communicate progress with respect to the 10 principles of the Global Compact.
