Academic experience

  • Since 1991: professor of Finance, member of the Core faculty of the MIB Trieste School of Management, part of the Balance sheet and control area, where she teaches in both the Executives education and the Post graduate divisions
  • Since 2003: Program director of the MIRM, Master in insurance and risk management, MIB Trieste School of Management
  • Since 2010: member of the Technical-scientific committee of the Assiteca prize
  • Since 2015: member of the Technical-scientific committee and associate of ANRA – National Risk Manager Association
  • Since 2016: Lecturer of Banking and insurance operations technique at the Department of economic and statistic sciences of the University of Udine
  • 2000 – 2004:Director of the specialisation course in Project financing at the MIB Trieste School of Management
  • 1997 – 1999: Lecturer, University of Trieste, course in Economy of transportation
  • 1995 – 1998: Educational coordinator of the Master course in Transportation, Intermodality and Logistics at the MIB Trieste School of Management

  • Since 2013: independent member of the Board of Directors of Eurizon Capital Sgr SpA, Milan, and member of the Internal control committee
  • 2010-2016: Member of the Occupational pensions stakeholder group of EIOPA, European insurance and occupational pensions supervisors, Frankfurt
  • 2003 – 2008: commissioner at COVIP, Pension fund supervision commission, where she was involved above all with implementation decrees and the related regulations of the enabling act on the Reform of the complementary social assistance system and relations with the CEIOPS – Committee of European insurance and occupational pensions supervisors, Rome
  • 2001 – 2003: Member of the Executive committee of ITACA – Institute for transparency in tenders, Rome, where she acted as national coordinator of three work groups on the following issues: reform of public works, green building, quality in public administration
  • 1994 – 1997: Member of the Board of Directors of Autovie Venete SpA, Trieste, entrusted with developing the tender for the creation and management of the M7, a section of highway that connects Budapest with the Slovenian and Croatian coast
  • 1993 – 1997: Chairman and member of the Adriatic Business Company Srl, where she worked in management consultancy and entrepreneurial activity in the field of integrated logistics, charged with developing the operational units in Budapest (Hungary) and Curitiba (Paranà , Brazil)
  • 1992-1993: Member of the Trieste work group made up of Finporto S.p.A.,Fiatimpresit SpA and Italfer SpA for the creation of a feasibility study for the creation of an intermodal axis for the development of exports to the State of Paranà, Brasil; project financing

  • 2010 – 2013: Friuli Venezia Giulia Regional councillor for Production activities, entrusted with Local police and security, where she dealt with the following sectors: craftsmanship, PMI, tourism, commerce and industry, dealing with the following companies and regional agencies, among others: Friulia SpA, Finest SpA, Banca del Mediocredito FVG SpA, FVG Tourism Agency, Promotur Agency and Friulia Sgr SpA
  • 2010 – 2013: Member with permanent mandate of ECOS – Commission for economic and social policy of the European regions committee, Brussels
  • 2008 – 2010: Friuli Venezia Giulia Regional councillor for Local planning, Local autonomy and security, EU affairs and International relations
  • 1998 – 2003: Friuli Venezia Giulia Regional councillor
  • 1998 – 2003: member of the Commissione Fondo Trieste of the Government commission of the Friuli Venezia Giulia Region
