So as to protect the environment and keep up-to-date with current environmental protection rules, Hera has obtained the necessary certifications for all the plants it manages.
It was in 2003 that the Environment Division* of Hera S.p.A. started out on a course of progressive ISO 14001 certification of all its plants, which was later added to the broader certification project of the entire Hera Group.
The aim of the standards is to contribute to protecting the environment and preventing pollution in a way that is systematic and consistent with the needs of the socio-economic context.
