Overview
The Hera Group is one of the leading firms in Italy in managing services related to the water cycle, in the energy sector and environmental services management. The Group is also responsible for public park maintenance, management of public lighting and traffic lights and of the District Heating.
Our world is the environment that surrounds us
In the environment sector Hera Group oversees the entire waste management cycle through operational environmental services and waste treatment, enabling it to cover its territory in a completely self-sufficient manner.
Everything that happens on the earth is the result of energy
Hera is the fourth largest national operator - and number two amongst local utilities - in the natural gas sales and distribution sector.
The secret of everything lies in water
In this sector, Hera's activity basically consists of management of integrated water service, namely collection, treatment, distribution, sewerage and purification.

Research and development
Hera Group's research and development department conducts both applied research, studying the implementation and productivity of fundamental discoveries in specific industrial and social sectors, and industrial research, which focuses on social, economic and cultural optimisation of applied research.
Remote control
The water, gas and district heating "Regional Network and Plant Remote Control Centre" will remotely oversee over 2000 plants and 60,000 km of networks in real time in the six provinces that the Group serves
Laboratories
The Water Cycle Industry of Hera works to expertly manage resources, aimed at harmonic environmental development and the wellbeing of local communities.
